Preston Wells, Jr.

Preston Wells, Jr was the son of Preston Wells, Sr and the late Jean Wells.  He was born on May 23, 1975 in Alexandria, Virginia.  Whether you called him Lil Preston, Prince or Blk Prince he was known for his unwavering faith, kind spirit and enormous love he shared with everyone he met.

Preston touched countless lives with his huge heart, beautiful smile, and steadfast dedication to his family, friends and faith.  A true man of God, he found purpose and joy in servicing others and spreading kindness wherever he went. Preston was that guy that whoever encountered him liked him and he was a cool person to be around.   He would always greet you with his huge smile and a warm hug.  

Preston lived his life according to Romans 12, “A Living Sacrifice”, showing all what the heart of God looks like.  He will be forever remembered as a loving son, a loyal friend, and a source of strength and comfort to those who knew him.  His laugh could light up a room, and his compassion knew no bounds.

Though our hearts are heavy with his loss, we find comfort in knowing the Preston is at peace and in the presence of the Lord and his mother Jean Wells.  Preston understood his assignment.  He was called home for a job well done.
