Dolores Maxine Dyke Smith

Dolores Maxine Dyke, our Dyke-Calloway Family Matriarch, was born on Wednesday, January 4, 1933, in Goode, VA, to the late Edna Harliss Dyke (1/30/1911 - 11/11/1991) and the late Levi Abraham Bell (12/9/1908 - 4/1975).  She transitioned to glory from her home in Capitol Heights, MD, to be at home with the Lord on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at age 91 – on no medication.

Dolores leaves to cherish her memories and learn of her legacy:  her brother, James A. Bethel II  (Larmazetta); daughter Karen Michelle Rogers; two grandchildren: Kaleena Michelle Rogers Hoover (Shelby) and Jamar Dwight Rogers; nephew James ‘Jay’ Bethel (Nancy), great-nieces Alison and Olivia; nephew Brandon Bethel; four great-grandchildren: Sanaa Fields, Jaiden Rogers-Edwards, Jaxson Ray Hoover, Jordyn Kai Michelle Hoover; one great-great grandson, Kyrie; two half-sisters Barbara Bryant Saunders and Kathleen Bell Mallory and the entire Bell Family; and a host of relatives and friends.
